Interior Extras:
Autometer Gauges - Will be writting up a How-To soon on redoing the gauge cluster.
Line Lock? - I didn't want a obvious big RED push-button hanging around my interior for my line-lock. Well, I used a toggle switch to the ground that is switched by the horn button. Factory the Horn button made a ground for the horn relay, and it beeps. Well the toggle directs which relay that gets sent to. Simple. One way you have a horn, the other way to have no horn, and it holds your line-lock solenoid. I have one solid hand on the wheel, holding the button as well, the other is free to shift or what have you.
Pistol Grip Automatic? No, not factory. It is from www.harmsauto.com, they make high quality parts. It is a direct replacement for the T-handle, install takes a minute, if that. I prefered the Harms over Gunslinger or the other brands for a couple reason. First off, the tilt. Harms' has theirs setup tilted, just like the factory 4-speed pistol grips. Unlike the Gunslinger's that are straight, awkward feeling, up and down. Second, I get, 'How do you shift?'. Well, again, unique to Harms' the entire upper shifter assembly slides down, allowing to to change gears. The factory 'Slap-Stik' action is still maintained. Where as, the Gunslinger has a big, I think goofy looking 'trigger' to shift gears. Defintely not a slick setup like Harms' did. I run a Harms in my 'Cuda, as well in my Dad's Overhaulin' built Challenger. So they're "Foose Approved" too!
Kick-Panel Speakers - No, no, I didn't kill a perfectly good set of kick-panels for that. I purchased a already cut-up pair of panels for my install. They are 5 1/4" Polk audio speakers. Only other modification that was needed was I had to 'shim' out the parking brake from the body to clear the speaker grille.
Grant 'Tuff Wheel' - Before Grant came out with their beautiful 15" 'reproduction' tuff wheel, there wasn't much availible in the 'budget' department for a good looking wheel. Well, for $33 I picked up that grant, used my factory horn button assembly from my Two-Spoke wheel and stripped the paint. See the 'How To' section from the home page for more on it.
